United Volta Association (UVA) Inc., a non-profit, benevolent, socio-cultural organization of all Ewes from the Volta Region of Ghana and the Ewe-speaking people of Togo and Benin as well as others who have the interest of ewes at heart; residing in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The Association aims at fostering the social and economic welfare of its members, promoting co-operation and friendship between the association and other associations with similar aims and objectives; and more especially, to assist the people of the Volta Region of Ghana and the Ewe-speaking people in Togo and Benin to develop themselves economically, socially, and spiritually.
