United Volta Association (UVA) Inc., a non-profit, non-political, benevolent, socio-cultural organization of all Ewes from the Volta Region of Ghana and the Ewe-speaking people of Togo and Benin as well as others who have the interest of ewes at heart; residing in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The Association aims at fostering the social and economic welfare of its members, promoting co-operation and friendship between the association and other associations with similar aims and objectives; and more especially, to assist the people of the Volta Region of Ghana and the Ewe-speaking people in Togo and Benin to develop themselves economically, socially, and spiritually through the provision of:

i. Adequate textbooks to elementary and secondary schools for the education of children and the masses.
ii. Medical supplies to hospitals, clinics and health centers throughout the region.
iii. Agricultural machinery, supplies and equipment such as seedlings and fertilizers.
iv. Christian literature, such as bibles to churches to promote Christianity and the love of God
